The year of 2020 was unprecedented and forced individuals, teams and organisations into a complete state of disarray. The events of the year caused all sorts of challenges, both at home and at work, personally and professionally. During Australia’s first lockdown, it became clear that the impacts of COVID-19 were going to be long-term and far reaching. The year was going to go down in the history books as one to remember, for reasons both good and bad. Many of us saw loved ones go through hardship, businesses shut their doors, and workplaces struggling to keep their workers engaged, productive and committed. At the same time, we saw the love and kindness of humanity as communities came together to support one another and simply survive. Great things always happen on the inside first” says Tazmayne, and “for those companies that get wellbeing right, they will experience greater productivity, longevity of staff and ultimately, a healthier bottom line. It’s just good business sense.”
